Anthony Miller Youth Weekend included an autograph signing, an Academy Sports giveaway event, and a youth football camp, all built to serve kids and the Memphis community. The goal was to create a weekend that felt organized, elevated, and memorable, while capturing documentation that could be used beyond the event for future promotion, storytelling, and sponsor value.
THE INSIGHT
Community events succeed when the experience feels cared for, and that care shows up in the details. It’s not enough to capture highlights after the fact. The weekend needed creative direction that supported the flow of the event, made key moments easy to document, and ensured the visuals reflected the purpose: kids, opportunity, and the future of Memphis. When documentation is intentional, the event doesn’t disappear once it ends; it becomes something the community can build on.
THE RESPONSE
I served as Creative Director for the weekend, capturing photo coverage across the autograph signing, giveaway moments, and camp experience. I also designed event materials like banners and merch including camper and staff shirts, bottles, and sweat towels, ensuring the weekend looked cohesive on-site and on-camera. In addition, I supported sponsor alignment by helping identify an electrolyte sponsor that made practical sense for a Memphis summer camp environment.
THE RESULTS
The weekend now has a strong visual archive that can be reused for future youth weekends, sponsorship outreach, and community storytelling. Merch and event visuals created a consistent identity across the experience, and sponsor value was documented in a way that feels natural and not forced.
